Training of staff, students and external stakeholders is one of the key URGENT deliverables that is critically important in terms of project impact and its sustainability. We are employing a broad range of formats and tools, including such large-scale and complex in organisation events as summer schools and webinars, but also many more simple and short ones, such as workshops and lectures.

In terms of webinars, URGENT offers the following ones:

Such a configuration of URGENT webinar activities is due to the broad use of English in India that means that it can reach a broad range of stakeholder representatives as well as academics in this country; due to the involvement of international guests (including renowned experts not belonging to the formal URGENT consortium) we are also aspiring to reach international audiences outside URGENT partner countries. The URGENT international webinar is co-hosted by Jawaharlal Nehru University and Nirma University. Here is its dedicated webpage. In Mongolia English is not widely spoken, and therefore the choice was made to set up a dedicated webinar series in Mongolian, wich are co-organised with the INTENSE National Doctoral School in Environmental Sciences. in the year 2022 the webinar is hosted by Mongolian University of Life Sciences.
